The Essentia® Wifless™ ESS M3325 is a Carrier Class high-end-performance 3x3 MIMO Radio Outdoor Wireless AP / Bridge / Router / Mesh Node operating on both ISM Unlicensed and Licensed Bands in the 2.3-2.5 and 4.9-5.9 GHz. Based on OpenWifless™ ESS ProMIMO operating system, the device integrates multiple Advanced IP Dynamic Routers, a Policy Router, an Advanced Firewall with Broadcast & Multicast filtering and a QoS & CoS Manager with a full-featured L2‑L3‑L4 Bandwidth Manager. The Wifless™ ESS M3325 can operate in every possible configuration, from a simple stand-alone PTP L2 bridged link, up to a complex Multiple Virtual Access Point node with BGP-4 and OSPF dynamic routing and Radius AAA, or acting as a simple node in a WDS Mesh Network as well as in more complex OLSR Mesh Networks. PTP links aggregation capability and PMP sector redundancy complete the outstanding set of features provided by the system software. The Wifless™ ESS M3325 is a Full-Standard MIMO IEEE 802.11ng/na and SISO IEEE 802.11abgh versatile & interoperable device with extensions for licensed bands. Tailor-made for actual WISP & Wi-Fi VoIP applications, thanks to the Compact Flash slot that can host a Solid-State-Disk, it is the best solution for the emergent Triple-Play and Video-on-Demand services over reliable low-cost WAN radio networks. The device uses a modular and upgradeable architecture based on Intel® XScale™ Network Processors and 66 MHz Mini-PCI RF modules. Thanks to this design, system software and radio hardware can be easily upgraded to newer versions and solutions. Sealed in an IP 68 & IK10 rugged case, the Essentia® Wifless™ ESS M3325 boasts an extended temperature range and comes with an extended-voltage redundable PoE powering system. Performances include high MTBF, short MTTR and low power consumption. Free of safety hazards and SAR-related risks, this device integrates all modern security features. The Essentia® Wifless™ ESS M3325 contains a Dual Band 3x3 MIMO radio based on the new Atheros® radio chip-set supporting the Atheros® XPAN™ and SST™ up to 300 Mbps, and SuperG/AG™ Static & Dynamic Turbo 108 Mbps mode and the eXtended Range™ (XR) mode, thus making a fantastic component for flexible and performant radio networks. The Wifless ESS M3325 equipment has FCC and ETSI Approvals.

Available Options

An advanced version with an high performance ITU-T G.984 G-PON uplink, having an SM LC/APC optical interface and supporting OMCI remote/automatic provisioning, is available as Wifless ESS M3325-PON. The Essentia® Wifless™ ESS 1561 is a Carrier Class low-cost high-performance Wireless Outdoor Integrated Antenna AP / Bridge / Router device operating on both ISM Unlicensed and Licensed Bands in the 4.8-6.1 GHz. Based on OpenWifless™ ESS NODE operating system, the Essentia® Wifless™ ESS 1561 is a fully standards-compliant device compatible with all most popular Access Points and Wireless CPE. The device integrates RIP & OSPF IP Dynamic Routers, an enhanced Firewall with Broadcast & Multicast filtering and a QoS & CoS Manager with a Bandwidth Manager. Optimized for the deployment of Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint private networks, the Wifless™ ESS 1561, like all other members of the Essentia® Wifless™ ESS family, can meet all the requirements of SOHO and Residential applications and of SMB enterprises. It is compatible with the latest Fixed MAN-WISP Triple-Play applications and tailor-made for Wi-Fi VoIP and Video Services. The device uses a modular and upgradeable architecture based on Infineon® Network Processors and a Mini-PCI RF module.
